Hi everyone!
If you've been around here for a while you know I'm not normally a huge fan of "What I eat in a day videos" (or WIEAD) as I feel they can spark comparison, which can lead to triggering emotions especially for those who may be struggling with their relationship with food.
However as a registered dietitian, I also do see the value in providing food ideas as inspiration. Using videos such as "WIEAD" videos to showcase realistic, easy ideas for how to incorporate nutrition into your daily life with a focus on creating a balanced and satisfying plate.
I believe in nutrition by addition and focusing on looking for ways to ADD nutrients to your plate without sacrificing taste or enjoyment. My goal when it comes to creating and sharing my recipes is to help individuals nourish a healthier relationship with food in a way that fits with their lives. So today I decided to share a glimpse into ONE day of my life to show you nutrition doesn't need to be overly complicated (keep in mind I did know I was filming this day... my meals aren't always this thought out and aesthetic)!
Below you can find some of the recipes I highlighted in today's video as well as some helpful nutrition posts if you are looking for more inspiration and education- enjoy!
