2teaspoonnutritional yeast
½teaspoonpaprika
Chili lime:
Juice of ½ a limeabout ½ tbsp
1teaspoonchili powder
¼teaspoonsalt
Cinnamon sugar:
½tablespoonbrown sugar
1teaspooncinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 350 F.
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil and seasonings of choice. Brush each side of the tortilla in a thin layer of the oil mixture.
Slice each tortilla into about 12 triangles using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter. I like to start by slicing the tortilla in quarters, and then slicing each quarter into about 3 triangles. The chips may not be equal sizes and that is okay.
Arrange tortilla triangles in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer (it’s ok if they are overlapping slightly). I recommend doing this in about 2-3 batches depending on your air fryer size. Bake for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown (note they may not be perfectly crispy right away).
Allow to cool. This is when the tortilla crisps to create a traditional chip texture. Once cool tortilla chips can be stored in an airtight container or bag on the counter or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
Please note all air fryers are different and the cooking time may vary slightly, I recommend starting at 5 minutes and increasing as needed until the tortillas are crispy.*I have included an estimation of the nutrition information for this recipe below.
